Have a voice in shaping electronic solutions that will increase the efficiency and accuracy of eligibility and claims transactions, reduce administrative and labor costs, and improve service to patients. Network and share experiences with professionals at the leading edge of electronic information exchange in the business of dentistry.

NDEDIC Work Groups

Work groups provide the forum for diverse stakeholders to collaborate on developing and standardizing electronic transactions that benefit dental businesses. NDEDIC has two work groups:

  • Work Group 1 - Eligibility and Benefits
  • Work Group 2 - Remittance

Each work group has active task groups focused on solving industry issues and creating solutions. The task groups meet regularly by conference call.  The work groups meet monthly by conference call, and in person three times annually including at NDEDIC's Uniting the Industry (UIF) Forum and Annual EDI Summit.

NDEDIC is transitioning to a structured, consensus-based process for resolving issues and developing solutions through the work groups. Members and non-members can participate in the work groups, but only members can vote on proposed transactions, standards or implementation guidance. It is important for all stakeholder groups to be represented in work groups.

Your active participation in work groups helps ensure that your voice is heard and that your concerns and those of your organization are addressed. To join a work group or obtain more information about work group initiatives email ndedic@ndedic.org.
